[As polite as it is to text back with an 'okay, on my way', Mae is so beyond politeness right now. There are two sides of the story that she knows: from Allison and from Derek. None of the sides spell much else aside from trouble for Stiles, and the fact that he's gone and he's off to a place where - let's face it - she will never have access to, means that if he never comes back (and it could happen), she'll just never know. Is he happy, is he safe?
Apparently he's not safe. And hey, Mae's been around Nick, around Alan, around the Market and around two very dangerous Circles; she knows supernatural when it stares her in the face, even if she doesn't know what supernatural this might be. (Makes her wonder, would be it be easier to go though if she knew Stiles was just in trouble with the cops, or because some monster is chasing him? And hell, knowing how close he is to his dad - knowing that it'll happen, and he'll be devastated, probably - it kind of makes her hurt for him.)
So screw pleasantries. She brings nothing with her, just herself. Many might call that a dumb move, going unprotected, but the thing is - she doesn't really fear Derek. Right now she's just annoyed by his curtness. Stupid guys with their stupid lack of tact.
She'll have her own lack of tact by banging on his door hard, just a few minutes later.]
[Christ, wear a bell around your neck or something! She nods and steps inside, taking a look around - like she expects Stiles to just pop up from around the corner and go SURPRISE, SUCKER. It doesn't happen.
She spins around to face Derek.] Usually I'd make a comment about loving what you've done with the place, but let's skip that.
Nothing! [His might not be a menacing step, but hers is. As is it a slightly menacing waggle of her finger in his direction, before she feels ridiculous and ends up clenching her fists at her sides.]
And something tells me the sworn secrecy had a lot to do with you.
Well, you better get him a damn cupcake, because he did a good job keeping the secret. [And she did push, once or twice! Her instinct never fails her, and now the tunnels make sense, the vaguely canine smell makes sense (even if there were no dogs in the tunnels), and maybe even some of the growling and grunting makes sense!
And she'd really take a moment, usually, to go over the wow factor of this revelation, but Derek ruins all things and tells her bad words.] Killer druid? And by we do you mean you or mostly Stiles? [It's always the one without the supernatural power to get targeted first, no matter how much they can contribute. She can only think of Alan, in this moment - the Circle knew exactly who was whose weakness, and if a few magicians know subterfuge, surely werewolves do too.]
[Fine. But only because if she doesn't sit down she'll start pacing, and that won't get her nowhere. Except when she does sit down on the couch, all the worry kind of doubles.]
[All she knows about Scott is that he's Stiles' best friend, and she was rudely abandoned when he came to the City, just saying. I know you read this, Sarah. And Allison seemed nice, from the very short conversation they had.]
Like a werewolf hunter, or like a duck hunter? How does that even work, do people even do star-crossed romance anymore? [Asks the girl with the Romeo & Juliet would've never lasted t-shirt.]

Mae, sit down.

[A pause.] I'm standing. You're being far too ominous right now, and I'd rather be standing.

We're werewolves. Not Stiles. But Scott. Me. Isaac. We're werewolves.

I see. Okay. [She grows silent for a really long time, and then blurts out,] I had a feeling.

He goes home, and there's a pack of alpha werewolves who want to see a killer druid dead, and we're the people in the middle.
