Scott was working with Gerard. For weeks he was doing what he was told. And then, after saying he joined by pack, he went behind my pack with a plan to get rid of him.

[And then he said those hurtful words.]

He used me, Stiles.

Scott's not like you.

[ Stiles doesn't look at him, just pulls up outside of Derek's house. ] He doesn't get the rules because he's not had them drilled into him like you have, okay? I get that you're - you're the head of this werewolf thing, but he's a kid and he's mostly alone in this and you haven't exactly been big on the detail. He probably thought he was doing the right thing.

[Derek growls, his eyes are going red]

You know what the right thing was? It was making me bite Gerard so that he would have a reaction, a reaction that might or might not have worked. And if it hadn't, Gerard would have killed me and become and Alpha wolf. And you know what the right thing was?

It was letting you get kidnapped. It was betraying a pack he came to of his own free will. And it was doing it all so that he could stay with Allison.

I've done awful things but I would never betray my pack that way.

[studmuffin]

[ The engine dies and Stiles doesn't say anything for a moment, his hands staying where they are. ]

He's my best friend. [ Stiles is loyal. ] He must have had his reasons. He's not here to ask.

[Very irritated, at the moment]

[ Rubbing his hands over his face. ]
